Before your initial appointment at Duval Spine & Rehab, we'll email you a link to access our online patient portal, allowing you to complete your new patient paperwork before your visit. If this is inconvenient, please arrive a few minutes early, and you can complete the forms at the office.
What to Expect During Your Chiropractic Consultation
Upon arrival, our welcoming staff will greet you and make you feel at home. You'll have a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Phil, during which you'll discuss your health history, current concerns, and goals for seeking chiropractic care. He will then conduct a comprehensive examination to identify the underlying cause of your pain or other symptoms.
If Dr. Phil deems X-rays or MRIs medically necessary, he will provide you with the appropriate referrals.
After explaining his findings and how our chiropractic care may benefit you, Dr. Phil will address any questions you may have. If you're ready to begin treatment, you'll likely receive your first chiropractic adjustment or other therapies during this initial visit.
During your next appointment, Dr. Phil will evaluate your body's response to the care provided and tailor your adjustments to help you achieve pain relief and restore proper movement as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Auto Accident Injury Care
For patients who have sustained injuries in a motor vehicle accident, you may also meet with our nurse practitioner, Elizabeth, during your first visit. She can provide the Emergency Medical Certification (EMC) needed to ensure you receive the necessary care following a car crash.*
Florida law requires you to be evaluated by an authorized healthcare provider within 14 days of a car accident.
